Profhilo is injected into the skin using a specific technique. Once injected, it gradually releases hyaluronic acid, which attracts and retains water, improving skin hydration and elasticity. It also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining youthful skin.

Your treatment plan will begin with a thorough complimentary consultation at Cavendish Clinic with one of our highly experienced Aesthetic Doctors or Nurses. After discussing your treatment goals and a body assessment, we will create a tailored treatment plan to help you achieve your aesthetic goals. As with all injectable treatments there is always a risk of bruising. There may be some swelling or a bruise at the injection sites which normally resolves in a few hours or the next few days. You can usually return to work immediately after treatment.

Profhilo normally involves 2 treatment sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Expect to see a gradual intense hydration, improvement in lines and quality of skin, and a gradual lifting and tightening of the skin. In younger patients, there is mostly and improvement of the skin envelope and in older patients it fills in depleted areas of skin. It’s quite a magical treatment. Side effects are generally mild and temporary. They may include redness, swelling, bruising, and slight tenderness at the injection sites. These usually resolve within a few days.
