WHAT IS BODYTITE™?

BodyTite™ is one of the most advanced and effective, permanent methods of simultaneously removing fat and tightening the skin. An alternative to Liposuction. This innovative treatment uses radio frequency coupled with minimally-invasive lipolysis to dramatically improve your figure, with noticeable results straight after your treatment, which continues to improve in the following three months. We also do FaceTite™, which has also become very popular for the same reasons.

Say goodbye to liposuction! Introducing: BodyTite.

Permanent method of simultaneously removing fat and tightening skin. BodyTite at Cavendish Clinic is performed by plastic surgeons.

BodyTite™ is a minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) technology to remove excess fat and tighten the skin. It is a relatively new advancement in body contouring and has gained popularity as an alternative to traditional liposuction.

During a BodyTite™ procedure, a small incision is made in the target area, and a special handheld device is inserted beneath the skin. The device emits radiofrequency energy, which liquefies the fat cells and tightens the surrounding tissues. At the same time, the device also suctions out the liquefied fat, resulting in a reduction in fat volume and improved body contour.

BodyTite™ is considered a minimally invasive procedure because it involves smaller incisions compared to traditional liposuction. This results in less scarring, reduced downtime, and faster recovery. The procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia, and most patients can return to their regular activities within a few days to a week, depending on the extent of the treatment.

It is important to note that while BodyTite™ can provide noticeable improvements in body contour and skin tightening, it is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle or a solution for significant weight loss. As with any medical procedure, it is essential to consult with a qualified plastic surgeon or specialist to determine if BodyTite™ is appropriate for your specific goals and circumstances.

DISCLAIMER: RESULTS AND PATIENT EXPERIENCE MAY VARY. THESE ARE DEPENDENT ON SEVERAL FACTORS SUCH AS AGE, MEDICAL HISTORY AND LIFESTYLE.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL AFTER BODYTITE™?
You can expect to return to your normal activities, including work, after 2 or 3 days. Returning to more intense activities requires some more time and is usually possible after 3 – 6 weeks although this is dependent on the individual treatment. We can discuss this with you during your consultation.

DOES BODYTITE™ HURT?
Our doctors perform BodyTite™ treatment under local anaesthetic which is injected to the treated area.  We will always make sure that you are comfortable throughout the procedure.

AM I A SUITABLE CANDIDATE FOR BODYTITE™?
BodyTite™ is an ideal treatment for anyone wishing to get rid of stubborn areas of fat whilst also enhancing the look of sagging, wrinkled skin. BodyTite™ can be used on several areas of the body, but is most commonly used on:

  • Abdomen
  • Waist/”Love Handles”
  • Thighs

FAQs

One of the key advantages of BodyTite™ is its ability to tighten the skin along with removing fat. The radiofrequency energy heats the skin, causing collagen fibers to contract and stimulate collagen production, leading to skin tightening. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity.

You can expect swelling, tenderness and bruising after your treatment for up to a week but you can be rest assured that this is normal. The incisions are small and heal quickly without stitching necessary. We will also dress this area at the end of the procedure.

During your consultation, the area to be treated will be assessed by your practitioner. Numbing solutions will then be introduced under the skin to eliminate pain or discomfort of the procedure. During the procedure, your surgeon will create small entry points, approximately 2-3 mm wide. This allows the BodyTite™ cannula to enter under the skin and deliver radiofrequency to extract fat cells. The procedure takes approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on the size of the area being treated.

FaceTite™ is a minimally invasive facial contouring procedure that aims to tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of sagging or loose skin on the face and neck. The procedure uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) technology to deliver targeted energy underneath the skin. The device consists of a cannula, which is inserted under the skin, and an external electrode that stays on the skin’s surface. When activated, the FaceTite™ device heats the tissue to stimulate collagen production and contract the skin, which in turn leads to a tighter and more youthful appearance.

The procedure is often touted as an alternative to more invasive options, such as facelifts, and usually involves less downtime and fewer side effects. However, the results may not be as dramatic as those obtained through surgical methods. Patients may experience some swelling, redness, or bruising after the procedure, but these side effects are generally temporary.

Always consult with a qualified medical professional to determine if FaceTite™ or any other aesthetic procedure is appropriate for you. Keep in mind that technologies and techniques in cosmetic procedures evolve, so more recent information may be available.
