One of the key advantages of FaceTite is its ability to tighten the skin along with removing fat. The radiofrequency energy heats the skin, causing collagen fibers to contract and stimulate collagen production, leading to skin tightening. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity.

During your consultation, the area to be treated will be assessed by your practitioner. Numbing solutions will then be introduced under the skin to eliminate the pain or discomfort of the procedure. During the procedure, your surgeon will create small entry points, approximately 2-3 mm wide. This allows the FaceTite™ cannula to enter under the skin and deliver radiofrequency to extract fat cells. The procedure takes approximately 1 to 2 hours depending on the size of the area being treated.

You can expect to return to your normal activities, including work, after 2 or 3 days. Returning to more intense activities requires some more time and is usually possible after 3 – 6 weeks although this is dependent on the individual treatment. We can discuss this with you during your consultation.

You can expect swelling, tenderness, and bruising after your treatment for up to a week but you can be rest assured that this is normal.  The incisions are small and heal quickly without stitching necessary. We will also dress this area at the end of the procedure.
